Emma is 2

Emma Turned 2 in November!

She loves her big sister. What ever Bella is doing Emma feels as though she is big enough to do the same.

She is strong headed and I love her for it. she doesn't take crap from anyone. 

She didn't say much until she turned 2 and now all of a sudden she is learning so many words at a rapid pace.

She loves playing babies. She is not a picky eater like her sister. She can make anyone smile with just a look.

We also had her party at the Fire Station. Hey why not right?

We watched Brave and surprisingly the kids sat and watched the movie this time. Maybe they are just getting to used to be at the Fire Station. Or maybe it was a better movie choice.

 This was Easter. They both looked so beautiful in their dresses.

Lily and Emma continue to be inseparable.

 She makes me smile every day. She is so full of life and character. She loves to be silly in the car.

Sometimes eating can be so exhausting. 

And other times she makes eating fun!

She walks around the house all day asking for MEAT and WAWA!

 I find it hilarious!

 The hour in line in scorching heat however was not so worth it for Emma. 

She held on long enough for me to snap a picture and then she screamed to get off. 

It is so fun to have to girls. I love my alone time with Emma while Bella is at school.

 It's such a blessing she calls me Mom.

Isabella age 5

Isabella turned 5 in July!

She is such a good big sister. She helps me and challenges me on a daily basis.

 She started Kindergarten this year. On the first day of school my doorbell rang nonstop of kids wanting to come over and play with her. She is doing great in school! She has learned so much this year. I am so proud of her! I am so grateful I get to be her mom.

For her 5th birthday we had her party at the Fire Station. We had a movie party theme and we watched How to train your Dragon. Well it was at least playing on the screen. I don't think any of the kids actually watched the movie.

 We stood in line over an hour in scorching heat to ride this horse.

 Her face made it all worth it though! She loves animals.

 This was at the summer BBQ for James' work. She does make quite a cute Fire Fighter.

She started playing T-Ball this summer with her friend. 

Her friend decided that she didn't want to play.

 Bella was so shy at first and was nervous to play but I am so proud of her for sticking with it and finishing out the season. 

 She is so proud of her trophy as she should be. She earned it! 

Playing catch up

Remember when I used to blog on a regular basis? Well you can kiss those days goodbye! I am going to throw some things together here that I have failed to post but most of you know who is on my Facebook.

Baby #3 is due in MAY!!! 

He is a HE! We are having a BOY!

Boy names welcome cuz what I like he doesn't and so on....

 I have some awesome friends who I am blessed that they don't work and we get to all go do fun things with our kids. Love our play dates!

Nothing white trash about that at all!

We got the opportunity to go to our first Utah Utes Football game.

 Even though they lost we will continue to be fans! It was a blast.

Christmas 2012

Since I am terrible at blogging these days you get the short version and everything smashed together type blogs for a while.

 (ok maybe not the short version)

James was on shift at the Fire station on Christmas. Santa came to visit the house early knowing dad had to work and we were so lucky we got to visit the Fire Station and he wasn't to busy so that was nice we got to spend a few hours showing his crew what Santa had brought the kids.

One night in December we went with my parents to see the Christmas lights downtown. 

We rode the train downtown and the kids thought that was awesome.

 I didn't have them convinced that it was the polar express though.

On the first day it snowed in December and the kids were dying to go outside. "Please, Please take us outside!"

 Since I am such a wimp when it comes to snow, I made my dad come over and build a snowman with the girls. I don't think he minded to much!

My mom bought tickets to go on a sleigh ride. That was so much fun! We took my friends daughter, Taylor because my dad had to work. She was so much fun to have with us. The horses pulling our sleigh names were Tex and Taylor.  Taylor the horse and Taylor the girl were both 8 years old! 

The horses on the sleigh ride took us to Santa's village. I could not believe Emma just went right up to Santa and told him she wanted a Baby and Beef Jerky! Bella on the other hand still was very shy with Santa and was nervous telling him she wanted a Monster High Barbie.

The cupcakes we made for Santa. We tried to make them look like North Pole cupcakes. 

The Reindeer also ate the food we left out for them. 

And wouldn't you know it.......

The girls were so grateful of everything they received.

 I am so proud of both of them!

That sums up most of December!

Elf on the Shelf 2012

We started the tradition of the elf on the shelf. Don't know what that is, Google it! You will find millions of crazy moms out there telling their children that an Elf has come to visit their house. It actually is quite nice to have around. Who would have thought a little elf that moves while you are sleeping wouldn't be creepy and give your children nightmares? But the kids do behave very well and if they are not behaving, all you have to do is say, "ELF!" and they straighten up in 1.3 seconds. Works like magic! I didn't have to drag my 5 year old out of bed for school! She was just so excited to see him every morning. A bonus I wasn't expecting.
Problem is I would forget to move him before I went to bed and wake up at 2 AM in a sweat trying to figure out where he is going to hang out for that day.

Here is what our elf "Skylar" was up to.

This is the first night he came to our house and Bella sat by the tree for about 20 minutes trying to figure out where he came from.

The picture where he is in the wreath is where Emma touched him and he was sad. He had a splint on his arm and they never touched him again.

 I think these 4 were the girls favorite.

 He drew Rudolph noses on our pictures, Snow globe and playing on the computer.

 Skylar got tangled up into trying to hang lights in the girls bed. Don't try if your kids are light sleepers. This one by far took the most time and I was almost caught several times.

I dragged my feet getting the Elf because it is pretty expensive for a little creepy doll. But now that I have seen how excited my kids get, I am sooo glad we started this tradition.
